The Tale of Eyrda

Before time was time, two primordial gods were born in the Ocean of Chaos, and the books of the old call them Dyos and Nyos.

The Birth of the World

The Creation

And it came to pass that Dyos discovered the existence of a desolated world, and he called it Eyrda. There was nothing in Eryda but a giant tree that has its roots grew in the nether realm, and its branches extended to the heavenly world. On the top of the tree, Dyos found a mystical Astrolabe, an arcane object that records the fates and doings of the gods, including that of his own destiny.

With his powers, Dyos had transformed Eyrda from a wasteland to a prosperous, beautiful world. Yet, even as a god he could not comprehend the arcane knowledge inscribed on the Astrolabe. Therefore, he left his three children Tytan, Illyfue and Vida to rule Eryda, and then went to the edge of the universe to contemplate the mysterious knowledge of the inscriptions.

The First War of the Gods

After tens of millions of years, dwarves, human, elves, Myrmidon were created by the three Children of Dyos, and they become fruitful and multiply on the face of Eyrda.


Nyos, the primordial goddess of chaos, saw the beautiful Eyrda, and jealousy was born in her heart. Then, she released the jealousy outwardly, and the jealousy became her son Mylvada. Desiring to destroy Eyrda yet curious about the mystical Astrolabe discovered by her brother Dyos, Nyos bestowed Mylvada the horrifying power of destruction, and ordered him to bring Eyrda to annihilation. Then, Nyos disappeared in the universe to search for the Astrolabe.

The other gods, the Children of Dyos, knew the wickedness of Mylvada; thereupon they gathered their forces to wage war against the Lord of Destruction, and this is the First War of the Gods written in the ancient scrolls. Mylvada was defeated after a hundred years of darkness, the three Children of Dyos won the war.

The Second War of the Gods

After the First War, Mylvada remained dormant for a thousand years. Then, he conceived a plan. He corrupted Dysil, a spirit of the woods, and make him a Dark Lord. Stealing the divine powers of the three Children of Dyos, Dysil created a woman, the most beautiful being of Eyrda, and Mylvada named her Shylia. Mylvada then commanded Shylia to seduce the gods, so that she might sow the seeds of dispute and that the gods would fight among themselves.

When Tytan and Vida saw Shylia, they felt insanely in love with her, and started to battle against each other to possess her. The plan worked well until Illyfue, with her divine power, knew that this is but a trickery of Mylvada, and so she brought her brothers back to their senses. Seeing their follies, Tytan and Vida stopped their battles, gave up their desire on Shylia, and waged war against the wicked Mylvada; this is the Second War of the Gods.

Birth of the Kindred

Because Shylia was born out of the divine powers stolen from the gods, she possesses unusual mystical powers and immortality. Desiring to free herself from the bondage of Mylvada, she escaped to Oeste, the westernmost continent of Eyrda. There, she felt in love with a human, a mortal called Corvus. To make Corvus be with her forever, she bestowed Corvus the power of absorbing life sustaining forces from her own blood, and thus Corvus became the first kindred. Their four children are the ancestors of all the vampires.

Fall of the Gods

After a thousand years of dormant, the powers of Mylvada became even greater than before, and this time not even the gods could withstand his forces. Then, Shylia persuaded all the races of Eyrda to form an alliance to resist the invasion of Mylvada. Because of this alliance, Mylvada was defeated and was forced to flee to the Ocean of Chaos. Yet, the gods and the alliance suffered tremendous losses. Shylia and two divine weapons have disappeared, and the gods lost much of their divine powers, forcing them to retreat to the godly realms away from Eyrda. Thus after the Second War of the Gods, humans ascended to be the ruler of the earth.


The Coming of a Storm

Before Mylvada left, he resurrected Dysil, and transformed him into a gigantic, fearsome demonic dragon. Ever loyal to Mylvada, he ruled over Cintura, and summoned dark forces to invade Oeste, yet he was vanquished by an alliance of all races led by humans.

But Dysil could not be defeated that easily. Now, he is even stronger than before, and the second invasion is at hand. You are standing at the threshold of great destruction, and the fate of Eyrda rests on your hands. You need to choose to become one of the five races, and save Eyrda from total annihilation.
